Emily's take:
My sister is an author. She wrote and published a beautiful fantasy/adventure novel titled Healer's Destiny. This is my shameless plug for everyone to read my clearly biased review, then go get it yourself for your reading enjoyment!

Julee F. Page combines a fantasy/adventure/romance novel in a clean and compelling format. From the very first pages, you are thrown into a world of chaos and instability. Julee has done a magnificent job creating a believable fantasy world through her detailed and sometimes comical prose. Eliana, the heroine of the book, is kept a secret in a world where women are abused, frequently kidnapped, tortured, and taken from their families for life. Thus, in this world, females stay indoors and are rarely, if ever, seen outside the home.
Eliana carries with her an even deeper secret - she is the subject of a prophecy to bring down the empire created by the wicked, tyrannical wizard who rules the vast and devastated land. Composed in an easy-to-read, fast-paced adventure, this novel will keep you turning pages well into the night, following Eliana on her journey to fulfill her destiny.
Healer's Destiny can be found at convenient places: http://www.amazon.com, Kindle, Nook, Barnes & Noble, and directly from the publisher, https://www.createspace.com/3563094.

Enjoy, readers! If you have read the book, or WANT to read it, please post your thoughts below. More reviews equals more opportunities to share viewpoints, and I love a good book discussion - as this one will inevitably incite.
